About the Hunt
Kansas Hunts
What is offered?
Located in Morris County, in the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas, our ranch has 10,000 acres which is custom-made for the hard-core archer. The terrain consists of wooded creek and river bottoms, rolling prairie and croplands consisting of milo, wheat, corn and soybeans. Bucks scoring over 200″ have been harvested on our ranch and with these genetics it is obvious why our clients are taking 150″ and better every year. As always, the key is having the patience and self-control to allow the young bucks the opportunity to reach maturity. In this area of Kansas, maturity usually equals monsters.
Tree stands, tripods and ground blinds are strategically placed in order to insure bow hunters are in active travel areas. As with all of our hunts, yours will take place during the Kansas rut. Clients must come prepared to put in time on stand and expect big bucks to be traveling & searching for does any time of day. Because terrain is somewhat more open than other parts of the Mid-West, we’ve had good success with using calling and decoying techniques to lure rutting bucks into bow range.
Another plus for our clients is that we keep hunting pressure low with maximum of 6 hunters in camp per hunt. As you can see, this is a prime opportunity to bow hunt with guides who know bow hunting, and hunt on a ranch which produces record book whitetails for our clients year after year. Trophy Class Outfitters can get you on your next big trophy whitetail! Give us a call or send us an email
